I worked for L&W as a 2nd shift maintenance person for almost 4 years. They welcomed me into the company with no experience and helped me build a portfolio for a career, which has helped me build my life to where it is today. The products that came out of our buildings were always quality, and the workers were a great bunch of people. I’d recommend L&W to anybody looking for a job, and anyone looking for a manufacturer to handle their fabrication jobs!

OPEN POSITIONS

We are currently looking to fill various positions on 1st and 2nd shifts. These positions will start after the first of the year. Some training may be required prior to the first of the year as needed.

1st Shift Open Positions

Assembly- We are looking for an individual to join our assembly team. We are looking for someone who’s reliable, self-motivated and a team player.  Candidate would need some power tool experience and be mechanically inclined and able to read a tape measure. This individual must have the desire to learn all aspects of the job. This job requires someone to be on their feet for long periods of time.  This is a first shift position Monday – Friday. Some overtime may be required when needed.

Welder-  Looking for an individual to join our Steel Welding Department, who’s reliable,  self-motivated and willing to learn all aspects of the job. Looking for at least a year of experience in welding. Must be able to weld components that are vertical, flat or overhead and can stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at times. The individual will need to have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.

2nd Shift open positions

Flat Laser Operator –  We are looking for an individual who is reliable to join our second-shift Laser team. Individual we are looking for must be  someone who is comfortable with computers and has good mechanical skill. Experience with plasma, CNC or Laser is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a continuous basis. We  This position’s hours are 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm Monday – Friday. Some overtime may be required when needed.

Tube Laser– Looking for an individual who’s reliable,   self-motivated, and mechanically inclined. Comfortable with computer-controlled tube laser. Attention to detail and focus is key. Must have the ability to read engineering prints to determine cutting specifications. Laser experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate. This position’s hours are 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm Monday – Friday. Some overtime may be required when needed.

Press Operator-  We are looking for an individual who’s reliable,  self-motivated. Who is mechanically inclined and can read engineering prints to specifications. Must be able to read a tape measure. The press operator is responsible for reviewing orders to make the correct adjustments on the machine. Must be detail oriented to ensure product quality You will operate various machines to accomplish assigned tasks. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate. This position is a second shift position hours are 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Some overtime may be required when needed.
